Carlton Marshes, somewhat desiccated

I last went to Carlton Marshes just under two months ago, and it was rather wet and muddy then, despite the sun. Now, in late March after a week or so of sun and no rain, it's much drier. Carlton Marshes in winter

As mentioned in the previous two posts, the atmosphere has been conspiring against me. New camera, no good light for taking pictures. Well! Today that all changed, as finally the sun came out at the same time I had the opportunity to actually go out and make the most of it! Hurrah! Carlton Marshes is a nature reserve I've been to before, but until now have never managed to really make any pictures there worth showing to anyone. Dunwich Heath in the evening

Summer is definitely on the way: the evenings are light for longer (sunset is around 20:00), the weather is warmer, and things are starting to grow green bits. I've visited Dunwich Heath before, earlier in the year, and although I got a nice walk out of it, I got there a little too late to get many decent photos, even with the tripod. This time though I arrived with enough time to enjoy an hour's walk before the sun set. Equipment note: all the pictures here were taking using the Fuji 50–230mm.
