Sunday 26th of March 2017

I last went to Carlton Marshes just under two months ago, and it was rather wet and muddy then, despite the sun. Now, in late March after a week or so of sun and no rain, it’s much drier.

Still cold, but not unpleasantly so – in fact, by the end of the walk I was wishing I hadn’t brought my coat.
