In the woods, overcast
Sunday 12th of February 2017
Well, the nice weather lasted but one day, so now we’re back to heavy overcast again, with all the dull flat light that entails. two old abbreviated ‘Footpath’ signs Perfect for a walk in the woods then! Ok not really, but still, I wanted to get out the house for a bit, rather than sit indoors playing Guild Wars 2 all day, so what the heck. forest track with stacks of logs I brought my tripod, sin…

Dunwich: a walk in the woods
Monday 25th of July 2016
Taking advantage of the excellent weather we’ve been having lately, Zoe and I went for a walk in Dunwich Forest. We also got a bit disoriented on the way back and ended up crossing Westleton Heath, taking our distance walked to 10km. This time though I arrived with enough time to enjoy an hour’…

Fortunately, this week was rather more productive: not only did I manage to get out for a few early morning walks, today Zoe and I went to Framlingham Castle ! That last time she was there the market wa…

OCOLOY Week 29
Sunday 27th of September 2015
I made much more of an effort this week to get out and take pictures. I even got in my car and drove somewhere ! (Amazing, I know) As a result, I had quite a few more pictures to choose from than in previous weeks, which of course necessitated sharpening my editing (in the selection sense) skills. This, I think, is one of the challenges of this whole project: picking a small number of really good…
