Backlog: June 2018
Monday 19th of December 2022
Well, if I thought last month’s backlog was thin, this one was even worse. We went on just one outing, to Dunwich Forest, but other than that it was just shopping trips to Lowestoft, solo walking along the beach, and the usual pictures of Emily. As for said trip to Dunwich, well, it wasn’t terribly productive, photographically speaking, but Em enjoyed it and we had a nice picnic, so all in all it …

Backlog: February 2019
Thursday 24th of November 2022
More fog this month, this time on a morning walk around Lound Lakes. While preparing the images for this post, I was inspired by a video I recently watched about the Hassleblad X-Pan/Fujifuilm TX-1, so decided to try cropping the images to that camera’s super wide 65×24 (1:2.7) aspect ratio. In the woods, overcast
Sunday 12th of February 2017
Well, the nice weather lasted but one day, so now we’re back to heavy overcast again, with all the dull flat light that entails. two old abbreviated ‘Footpath’ signs Perfect for a walk in the woods then! Ok not really, but still, I wanted to get out the house for a bit, rather than sit indoors playing Guild Wars 2 all day, so what the heck. forest track with stacks of logs I brought my tripod, sin…

Dunwich: a walk in the woods
Monday 25th of July 2016
Taking advantage of the excellent weather we’ve been having lately, Zoe and I went for a walk in Dunwich Forest. We also got a bit disoriented on the way back and ended up crossing Westleton Heath, taking our distance walked to 10km. Good thing we need the exercise! path into the woods woods edge wheat field wheat field beyond the trees cleared line through the woods raised path over boggy ground …
